Last updated on September 5, 2024

You can play one golf course on your holiday in Ireland.

But you can also play several courses and save money!

How do you do that? I will tell you in this article.

Intro

The Irish love package deals. A simple variant of this is the so-called stay and pay deal, i.e. a combination of hotel and golf course. I’ve already written an article about this, which I’ll link for you below.

Some hotels also offer packages with several golf courses in the area. And then there are also associations of golf clubs that offer a golf pass. You can book and play several golf courses with reduced green fees.

I would like to introduce you to some of the providers of such golf passes below.

By the way, we live in Ireland (second home), know the island very well and have already played golf here. In summer we run our motorbike rental business here (south of Dublin) (www.easycruiser.tours) and also offer nice guest rooms.

The Dublin East Coast Golf Alliance

There are plenty of golf courses in and around Dublin, some of which are really top class. The Dublin East Coast Golf Alliance offers a pass for 3 rounds and a pass for 5 rounds of golf. You can choose from a list of 10 golf courses. See: http://dublingolfalliance.com.

Swing – South West Ireland Golf

There is also an Alliance in the beautiful southwest of the island. It is called Swing and is an association of 13 attractive golf clubs. You can choose from several golf packages or have your individual custom tour put together. See: https://www.swinggolfireland.com/golf-ireland/.

Premier Parkland Pass

There are also smaller cooperations of hotels, resorts and clubs that don’t have to hide. A nice example is the Premier Parkland Pass offered by Mount Wolseley Hotels. Here you can find a package with a choice of 3 beautiful Parkland Courses. See: https://www.mountwolseley.ie/prem.html.

Causeway Coast and Glens Golf Pass

Of course you can also book packages from travel agencies that include a golf pass for several golf courses. At GolfPA, for example, you can find 4 Tp golf courses in Northern Ireland as a package. See: https://www.thegolfpa.com/tours/ireland/northern-ireland/causeway-coast-and-glens-golf-pass.

Open Fairways Card

Here is another interesting option for you: The Open Fairways Membership Card offers you considerable discounts at all participating golf clubs. It was founded in Northern Ireland and is now valid for many golf courses throughout Ireland, Great Britain, Europe and even worldwide. See: https://www.openfairways.com.

Golfpass

On the Golfpass.com site you will find several interesting packages for Ireland and Northern Ireland. These are basically a combination of Stay and Play with a golf pass for several clubs. Just have a look. See: https://www.golfpass.com/travel-advisor/golf-packages/ireland-northern-ireland-golf-packages/.

Conclusion

With a golf pass you can play several golf courses and often much cheaper than paying each green fee individually.

In addition, you can make your holiday planning much easier, because all you really need is a hotel with a golf pass for the courses in the area and you almost have your short holiday organised.

In this article, I have listed some golf pass providers for you to help you get started. I hope this has brought you a little further and wish you a great golf trip to Ireland!
